E action: Apologize for Bush's Global Warming Failures

http://action.foe.org/dia/organizationsORG/foe/petition.jsp?petition_KEY=621

Apologize for Bush's Global Warming Failures
Your president is embarrassing you and the nation. This year's G8 host, Germany, proposed a declaration to limit global warming to a 2-degree Celsius increase; all participating heads of state agreed -- except President George Bush.

Apologize on behalf of our nation to the other G8 leaders for Bush's behavior by adding your signature to the statement below. If you wish to add your own comments, you can do so below the existing text. Friends of the Earth will send the signatures and statements directly to the G8 coordination offices of the participating nations before next week's meeting and hand deliver them on Tuesday to the German embassy in Washington, DC.

On behalf of the United States of America, I apologize for the actions of our president, George W. Bush. His rejection of reasonable global warming measures to be endorsed at the upcoming G8 meeting is shameful, and does not represent my views or those of the American people.

TAKE ACTION at the link above.
