20 Killed By Cyclone Gonu In Oman - Most Were Victims Of Flooding - AFP

The number of people killed by Cyclone Gonu in the Gulf state of Oman has risen from 12 to 20, a police source said on Thursday.

The source told AFP that half of the victims drowned in flooding caused by torrential rain, without giving further details.

I googled to see if there were any other updates and so far, the death toll has reached 28 in Oman and Iran. I saw pictures of the damage in Oman on the Weather channel and it looked pretty bad. More on this storm at the link.
