No relief in sight for SA's HIV positive
There will be no delivery by the government of life-saving anti-retroviral drugs for HIV-positive South Africans this year.

In fact, national health minister Manto Tshabalala-Msimang says she has no idea when the long-awaited drive will begin.

Speaking in Durban, she refused to be drawn on detail about the project to provide the drugs in state hospitals and clinics.

Even though the task team charged with developing a plan was on target to deliver their report to the cabinet at the end of this month, Tshabalala-Msimang would not talk about when the actual process would begin.
