PRC denies drugs hub accusation
China yesterday lashed out at the United States for including it on a list of major drug-transit or illicit drug producing countries, saying it was a mistake that should be corrected.

"The U.S. act is wrong," said foreign ministry spokesman Kong Quan, adding that Washington should "respect these facts and correct its mistake."

China was included in the report alongside 22 other countries, including Myanmar, India and Thailand.

Is the US on it's own list?

1. When we irritate the Chinese enough times...
...they might just dump our bonds and bankrupt us. If so, our paper dollars will be just paper.

2. The Treasury sales which Japan is about the only country who buys them
Edited on Sun Sep-21-03 08:42 PM by dArKeR
I don't think Europe buys them anymore for the last 15 years... Makes me think the Japanese Gov. is in a deal with the US to purchase our Treasurys (or Treasuries.)

I love the Japanese people and society but I think their ELECTED? government system has been hijacked since WWII. They really have no choice, no say, no power for any policies in or out of their country. Their choices of political leaders does not exist so what does it matter if they have free elections when their parties are mafias?

I've long suspected the Japanese Gov. is actually clandestinely controlled by the US since WWII.
