Network Rail to cut billions in spending - UK
Network Rail says it may cut about five billion pounds in spending over the next five years by postponing work such as replacing tracks.

The not-for-profit firm, which inherited Britain's creaking railways after a disastrous experiment with privatisation, said on Monday the plan had been submitted to rail regulator Tom Winsor. He will release his response by mid-October.

Network Rail is under pressure from train passengers to modernise lines that have been blighted by fatal crashes in recent years, while the government is urging it to rein in costs that it fears are spiralling out of control.

What are the British stupid? They should be blaming this on Davis and Clinton! Recall and Impeach!

1. Left out "stupid"
as in "stupid, disastrous experiment with privatisation".
