Arroyo inspects manhunt for terrorist
President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo flew to the southern Philippines yesterday to check on a massive manhunt for a suspected Jemaah Islamiyah bomber whose escape from jail has sullied her record as a staunch U.S. anti-terror ally in Asia.

Arroyo's first stop was Jolo, the violent tropical island where government troops are battling the al-Qaida-linked Abu Sayyaf Muslim extremist group. Arroyo was expected to award a power project and houses to impoverished villagers.

She will stay overnight in the southern port city of Zamboanga, the headquarters of the military's Southern Command, where she will meet military commanders overseeing a search for Indonesian Fathur Rohman Al-Ghozi, presidential spokesman Ignacio Bunye said.

Al-Ghozi, suspected of involvement in bombings three years ago that killed 22 people in Manila, escaped July 14 from a maximum security cell in the national police headquarters in the capital.

I really don't like this lady. She reminds me of a Shemale G.W. Bush.
