Bomb blast on Ethiopian train

Addis Ababa - A bomb blast on a train traveling from Djibouti to Ethiopia killed two people and injured nine others on Friday, a government spokesperson said.

Zemedkun Tekle, a ministry of information spokesperson, said the bomb exploded under a second-class seat when the train was near Adiquala, 190km southeast of Djibouti, just inside the Ethiopian border.

The explosion took place at 09:30 and the injured were taken to area clinics, he said.
