First black police chief appointed - UK
The Metropolitan police have in the past been accused of racism.

In April, Commander Cressida Dick, the head of its diversity directorate, said the force remained racist 10 years after the murder of a black teenager that provoked a shake-up of how Britain deals with race crime.

A 1999 inquiry into the murder of Stephen Lawrence found "institutional racism" within the service and also revealed widespread failings in the criminal justice system's approach to race crimes.

Don't actions speak for themselves! Going on the year 2004 and a country finally gets its first African heritage chief.
