Fox news uses a bit of subtle propaganda

I was reading this article on Fox "news"'s website. They added an interesting sentence which had nothing to do with the story. The story about the Danish find of some buried decade old shells which tested possitive for a mustard gas like substance had this sentence slipped into the middle of it: "U.S. intelligence officials also said Iraq had sarin, cyclosarin and VX, which are extremely deadly nerve agents. "

To the average American who isn't paying close attention this little subliminal nugget would make it seem like more than some decade old mustard gas was found. Am I crazy here?

2. Talk about subtle propaganda...

... the Daily Telegraph, a right-wing-pretending-to-be-impartial sydney newspaper recently ran a little article at the end of 2003, talking about the year that was.

It said that 2003 was a year for sorrow and for celebration "like the liberation of Iraq."

A story which had NOTHING to do with politics and the Iraq war was swiftly turned into a pro-Howard (Australian coprorate-lackey prime-minister) propaganda piece.
