Blue camp directs anger at Sisy - TW
While the pan-blue camp was still fighting over the discord between Taipei Mayor Ma Ying-jeou (???) and People First Party Chairman James Soong (???), they wasted little time attacking independent lawmaker Sisy Chen (???).

The alliance accused Chen yesterday of meddling in its campaign for last month's presidential election.

Ma was scheduled to meet with Soong last night to clear up what they called "misunderstandings" after Soong had criticized Ma's handling the violent demonstration on April 10.

The meeting, however, was called off at the last minute.

PFP Legislator Chiu Yi (??) blamed Chen for the opposition alliance's loss in the presidential election and said she had interfered in the alliance's campaign strategy.

PFP spokesman Hwang Yih-jiau (???) said Soong wanted to make clear to the Chinese Nationalist Party (KMT) that he did not wish to criticize Ma.

"The chairman said that he was surprised to learn of the media's interpretation of his comments about Ma," Hwang said. "The pan-blue alliance cannot afford to split and the priority for the two parties is to stick together and work hand in hand."

Soong told reporters on Saturday that the April 10 violence had a lot to do with Ma's asking him and KMT Chairman Lien Chan (??) to leave the scene early.

Ma, however, said the decision to leave was spelled out in a KMT-PFP resolution one day earlier.
