Minister forecasts fines for weathermen
Russian weathermen who get their predictions wrong could face stiff fines if one government minister has his way.

And repeat offenders could even be sent to jail, if Emergency Situations Minister Sergei Shoigu's plan is approved.

The minister was speaking in Irkutsk, which is on flood alert. He said he wanted weathermen to pay the price if they got forecasts wrong, because that led to emergency services being needlessly called out.

2. I just want local TV anchors to stop complimenting weather-boy....
..."So, you provided another beautiful day for us, Tim." "Yes," says weather boy, "with another perfect day on tap for tomorrow!" common, I shout at the TV, it is Florida, for Chrissake!
