govt's changing the troops' active duty time:

"war" is a weasely word to our GOP friends, Bush's powers depends on the definition of "War", so we wait to see if our right wing USSC is in a mood to limit those powers by saying a 50 year detention of an American citizen as an "enemy combatant arrested in Chicago" - without charge or trial - is a bit much.

"c. In the event of war, my enlistment in the Armed
Forces continues until six (6) months after the war ends,
unless my enlistment is ended sooner by the President of
the United States."
