Flight of Namibia's air traffic controllers
Windhoek - Poor working conditions and low salaries have forced Namibia's qualified traffic controllers to seek greener pastures in the Middle East.

The Namibian Air Traffic Controllers Association (Namatca) warned that resignations could jeopardise the country's air safety. The organisation said 40 percent of air traffic controllers in the country had resigned since 1999.

Namatca president Harold Hange said traffic controllers had become increasingly disillusioned with their working conditions in Namibia.

I'd guess most of them are working in Iraq!
