Palestinian PM to stay in the job
Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qurei has said he will remain in his post, three days after offering to resign.

Mr Qurei told his cabinet he accepted Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat's decision to reject his resignation.

He had been insisting that he wanted to quit over the growing lawlessness in Gaza and inaction over reform.

The Palestinian leadership has been embroiled in a crisis during the past few days over who should run the security and intelligence services.
