Battle of Algiers DVD

Has anyone seen Battle of Algiers?

It was released this week on DVD.

I have heard from many that the movie is very relevant with Iraq of today.

waited a couple of months, ordered it again, and Amazon told me it wasn't available...!

Yes, it's very relevant, that's why I wanted it.

The reviews should explain the relevency which is indeed significant.

3. Relevant? Yes

It is about the insurrection of Algiers and the crackdown of the terrorists cell by the french army. Relevant, yes I guess it must be, officials in the pentagon had organized a projection last year. A fact that had been highly publicized in France, because in the middle of the trial of a general accused of torture during the war of Algeria, it didn't really look like a good omen.

And yes, it's a good movie.
