China, Iran sign oil and gas deal
Here's why the US is not likely to attack Iran any time soon. China has at least 20 ICBMs.

China, Iran sign oil and gas deal

China's oil giant Sinopec Group has signed a $70 billion oil and natural gas agreement with Iran.

The deal is China's biggest energy agreement with one of the major Opec producers, the Chinese news agency Xinhuanet reported.

Under a memorandum of understanding signed on Thursday, Sinopec Group will buy 250 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas over 30 years from Iran and develop the giant Yadavaran field, said the news agency.

Iran is also committed to export 150,000 barrels per day of crude oil to China for 25 years at market prices after commissioning of the field.

3. Russia signed a weapons deal with Iran recently
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article7147.htm

The Soviets succeeded: by developing several supersonic anti-ship missiles, one of which, the SS-N-22 Sunburn, has been called “the most lethal missile in the world today.”

Today, Russian missiles are a growth industry generating much-needed cash for Russia, with many billions in combined sales to India, China, Viet Nam, Cuba, and also Iran.

5. Under the Radar
There is a very quiet development of growing economic/defense alignment between Russia, China and some of the ME countries such as Iran. I think this is a long term strategy to counteract the US efforts to use critical ME oil supplies as a leverage choke point on the growing industrial powerhouse to the East.

China has played this whole scenario like a fiddle, amassing huge amounts of US debt paper for future leverage, using the Iraq quagmire to distract the US and consolidate power among the growing contingent of anti-US countries while still playing nice with the dumbass Bush thugs, using North Korea as a surrogate to rattle the cages of Japan and the US.

This is a planned long march for global superiority by the mid century.

While Nero is fiddling...
