Condoleezza Rice's reputation precedes her
Well, I like the unusual candor here,
don't know how long it will last.

PARIS Condoleezza Rice is President Bush's choice to succeed Colin Powell as Secretary of State, but key U-S allies find the choice a bit hard to swallow.
It was Rice, after all, who was widely quoted as telling associates, "Punish France, ignore Germany and forgive Russia."

That was her suggestion for how Washington should treat opponents of the U-S-led invasion of Iraq in the spring of last year.

Many in Europe, Asia and the Middle East are concerned that Rice will add a more conservative, hawkish bent to U-S diplomacy.

1. Condi, as in historical revisionist ?
Condi who dropped the ball before 9/11.

Condi, who has trouble with U.S. history.

3. Does Condi even have a private life?
Although Janet Reno, Donna Shalala, and Hillary Clinton were often whispered to be lesbians by the right, the media never comes close to asking any questions about Ms. Rice's private life other than she tickles the ivory on her piano.

Boondocks was withdrawn by the Washington Post once for only stating that "maybe if there was a man in the world who Condoleezza truly loved, she wouldn't be so hell-bent to destroy it."

6. Condi spends her nights & weekends with George
Lots of talk about weekends away together, long walks, frequent phone calls, finishing each others' sentences...

I have to ask: where's Laura? You know, George, your wife??? What happened to "family values"? Just another example of hypocrisy in action. :puke:

Here's a great compilation of news stories:

http://www.campaigndesk.org/archives/001127.asp

"Mr. Bush and Ms. Rice have spent so much time together in the last four years, discussing foreign policy over weekends at Camp David and in long walks at the president's ranch, that it is difficult to know where one begins and the other ends."

"If she's not literally the first person he talks to every morning, it's close," said Coit D. Blacker, one of Rice's closest friends...

Blacker continued: "He concluded early on that she would be a good partner. She thought, 'Here's a guy I can work with -- but also spend time with, hang out with.'"
