Missouri Changes Gun Resale Laws |
|
http://www.krcg.com/news_details.asp?story_number=5401Missouri will modify its policy of trading its used gun for resale, after Governor Holden raised concerns about the practice following a deadly shooting at a Jefferson City factory. Department of Public Safety Director Charles Jackson says the state Highway Patrol is considering a policy change that would prevent used revolvers from getting into the hands of the public.
Starting last November, the patrol traded about 1,400 guns through a suburban Kansas City wholesaler for about the same number of newer guns (Glocks).

1. I'm totally in favor of this plan... |
|
...otherwise the corrupt gun industry would be screwed out of new gun sales. Any thinking person will also realize that if the police don't trade in the guns the people that were going to buy them will go without a gun.
Any flaws in my logic?

2. So does anyone have a problem with... |
|
...police departments selling (trading in) their old guns?
