The effect of DC vs. Heller? Look at Minnesota and Ohio. |
|
What happened in these two states when carry laws got liberalized? (These were the first two states that came to mind. YMMV)
"Blood in the streets"? More crime? Less crime? Can't tell for sure?

because I haven't read any of the statistics, but I sure as hell like having it as it saved my ass in 05 during a robbery. Everyone was OK except for mr. robber. He went to the hospital and then to prison.

2. Look, I think we may agree |

but this is what I consider a lazy post.
Why not make your case rather than post some semi coherent thoughts? I really don't know what point you are making? How about help us all out here?

3. Sorry about that. Let me rephrase my question. |
|
I was trying to post amidst household chores. What I meant to ask was:
What is the effect of recently liberalized gun laws on large cities?
What happens to the violent-crime and/or gun crime rates?
I mentioned Ohio and Minnesota as the states with the largest cities to be affected, and I remember the brouhaha concerning the overrides to Ohio's municipal gun laws. So what happened in Cleveland (and Columbus and Minneapolis and Saint Paul, etc.)?

5. Well as far as blood in the streets |
|
it hasn't happend. Nobody is getting into shootouts wild west style. When we were allowed to actually conceal in our vehicles, no police officers died. It has been a pretty positive thing.
