1. What'd you sell?
Not so stupid if you made a hefty profit?

2. Mac-10...
it's garbage, but has papers.

There's more to life than profit. I'd willingly take a financial bath to get the ban lifted. It's stupid and makes ZERO sense.

3. Oh, I agree
I was just being facetious.

Don't worry, my friend. This time next year, the AWB will be an unpleasant memory.

6. Do you mean a pre-1986 full-auto Mac-10?
Or a pre-1994 semi-auto?

Arghh!!!

7. Machinegun...
I've never owned a semi auto of that kind. The SMGs are not that great, and the semis truly suck. Why bother?

17. Pretty much, YES.

Hell, we've even got a couple of TV channels dedicated to us.

How often do you see machineguns in movies or on tv? Why is that? Because Americans LOATHE machineguns? I don't think so.

Oh, BTW, we don't set the rules for deleted posts...and I'm almost positive that the mods, who are the people who actually delete posts, are NOT gun nuts. Personally, I wouldn't go around calling the mods "pussies", but that's just me.

9. Tanks are totally legal everywhere in the USA
No federal laws apply to the transfer of tanks, and no states have laws that restrict ownership of tanks.

Whether or not you can get one licensed to drive on public roads may be a different story.

14. But what about the 120mm cannon?
Wouldn't that be an AOW?

16. OK, but would you still
have to pay the $200 for the BATF paperwork?

18. Yes...
there's still a $200 tax for functional "big guns", even if they're on a tank. There's no tax if the gun on the tank has been demilled, but if it's functional, there's at least one tax, maybe 2 or 3 (main gun, Co-ax, Commander's gun)

10. Good for you.
Hope you made a pretty penny off of it. What model? I'm kind of in the market for an armored vehicle, provided it's street-legal.

12. Saladin
I have a friend who's restoring a Saladin armored recon car. Mercedes 6 cylinder, no turret, firing ports. Cool ride.
