3. All the polls wouldn't be so bad
if they didn't contain inane questions.

No one should be forced to be armed or unarmed.
Free choice. That's what America's all aboot.

4. This one's stupid
Sorry. It's inspired by a proposal by, I believe a Louisiana lawmaker who proposed such an idea to state law.

21. Uh-huh. You're probably thinking about Kennesaw-style symbolic ownership laws...
which exempt anyone who objects, and have nothing whatsoever to do with "concealed weapons."

Are you going to post an "Abortions Should Be Mandatory Y/N" poll tomorrow too, or do you only post flamebait polls that are gun-related?

7. Now that you mention it...

I do remember hearing murmers about that legislations. IIRC, it basically mandates that all property owners at least own a gun.
I believe there is actually another such town with a similar law in the US and it has an unbelievable low crime rate.
The crime rate is most likely a product of that particular locale rather than everyone having guns.

I lived in east cleveland for 5 years. I would not want to see everyone there armed. :scared:

Nonrelated storytime:
I was once followed (walking) on the way home to my apartment around midnight (in east cleveland). Not the freindliest neighborhoods (understatement). For about 2 blocks I discretely noticed him following me. It turns out he was a homeless guy who asked for some cash. I didn't have any cash on me, but I walked one block over to a late night pizza/sub place and told him to get whatever he wanted. We ate dinner and talked. One of the best $10 I ever spent.

every adult over the age of 19 should be required train with and maintain an M-16 (or whatever we're using these days). That, I believe, was original intent. :sarcasm:

17. Under Florida law...
(2) "Concealed firearm" means any firearm, as defined in subsection (6), which is carried on or about a person in such a manner as to conceal the firearm from the ordinary sight of another person.

(3)(a) "Concealed weapon" means any dirk, metallic knuckles, slungshot, billie, tear gas gun, chemical weapon or device, or other deadly weapon carried on or about a person in such a manner as to conceal the weapon from the ordinary sight of another person.

Note: Florida issues a concealed weapons permit. Not all states do.

19. That law pertains to "concealed weapons."
The OP asks about "conealed weapons."

Normally, I wouldn't snark about a typo in a subject line, but this poster seems to be more interested in spamming with polls than actually posting interesting threads.

18. I do not advocate people being forced to bear arms.
I voted no.

People should not be forced to bear arms against their will.
