Police: would-be robber shot by own stolen gun
FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) - The gun used in an attempted robbery that ended with the robber being shot had been stolen.

On Saturday, Florence police said the suspect walked up to two men and tried robbing them at gunpoint. One of the men fought back, took control of the gun and fired it at the suspect as he fled, wounding him.
