New Hampshire to join states with "Federal exemption" gun law, with big time twist..
Pre-filed for the 2010 legislative session in New Hampshire, House Bill 1285 (HB1285) seeks to “exempt firearms, firearm accessories, and ammunition manufactured in New Hampshire from federal law and regulation.

Not content, to just join the states, with firearm exception laws, New Hampshire, adds an interesting bit of spice" to their law, that is certain to piss off some in the BATF and gun control movement in ways that can only be imagined.

"Any official, agent, or employee of the government of the United States, ... that enforces or attempts to enforce a act, order, law, statute, rule or regulation of the government of the United States upon a personal firearm, a firearm accessory, or ammunition that is manufactured commercially or privately in New Hampshire and that remains within the State of New Hampshire shall be guilty of a class B felony.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

14. You ought to step next door to Vermont. NO laws governing concealed-carry...
Vermont makes New Hampshire and many Southern states look like former Eastern Bloc countries when it comes to liberal gun laws. Only Alaska rivals Vermont.

Huge crime rate in Vermont. Really. I heard it on the Internet. Blood in the streets, and all.

7. Love it.
I don't know if the law will past court muster or not, but I love the way it shoots the finger to the Fed.

11. Federal pre-emption will come in the form of incorporation of the 2nd Amendment.
Which will have a very, very different effect than what you are hoping for.

10. Not going to happen.

The Supreme Court has ruled that an individual pot plant, grown by an individual, for individual use, inside that individual's own home, is covered by interstate commerce.

This state law will fly like the hindenburg.

16. It isn't intended to fly. It is a toothless protest law.
Its purpose is to make a statement, not to be a working law. Kind of like Kennesaw, GA requiring every household to have a gun. Unenforcable and not intended to be inforced, but to make a statement.

Supreme Court already heard the case, Gonzales v. Raich (previously Ashcroft v. Raich. Replace marijuana with firearms, you should get the point. Why do you hate the 2nd Amendment?

15. What a wonderful state
Any time the Federal Government gets something shoved right back down their throats, I think is a good thing. Make 'em a little more humble.
