It has been my experience that a large percentage of pro gun rights folks are aware of the origins of gun control. Antis.............not so much. Forgive me if this video has been posted before, or if this issue has been amply covered on this board, but I thought I'd post this

3. And telling that they're so completely uneducated on the subject of

gun control that they're unaware that "those evil tools of death" protected civil rights workers throughout the early days of the movement, and that some white civil rights champions like Don Kates actually stood watch over the homes of civil rights leaders with their rifles
in klan country. But of course guns are incapable of *protecting* -- just killing.

Read it carefully and you'll find posters in full support of not allowing people (of any color) to defend themselves if they live in public housing.
