My newest toy
The new Beretta U22 Neos.

It's ton of fun for plinking. It's also very comfortable to shoot. TO this point, it's digested Federal, Ramington, Winchester, and CCI standard ammo without a hitch. I'm going to try it with target grade ammo tomorrow.

I got groups under 3/4 inch at 25 feet with fewer than 50 raounds practice - shooting freehand out of the box with off the shelf ammo. I can imagine what a good pistol shot could do with it.

2. I like the looks of it
Integrated Weaver rail on the top, I presume.

My Ruger Mark II Target model shot about that well out of the box. It's a good feeling being able to actually hit things.

3. Just seeing it...
...makes me salivate at the thought of running through a shopping mall with one of them in each hand gunning down anyone who gets in my way.

Or maybe not :)

It is a very futuristic looking pistol however. Beretta has some neat stuff

5. Hi Standard
The contours remind me of the old Hi Standard .22 target pistols.

7. Not a problem
Those who know my preferences are aware that I favor the .45 ACP. THe .45 is what I carry - Colt 1911.

Being an old timer, I prefer the 1911. For hunting, I use the .22 for squirrels and such, .32 H&R mag for javelina, and anything from .41 mag to the new .500 for bigger stuff.

8. I came close to buying one, but ...
... every one I looked at seemed to have the top rail misaligned.

Try this, extend the gun away from you at arm's length and look at the back of the rail. Does it appear to be tilted slightly (ie - top of the rail is not parallel to the ground?)

9. I picked through 4 to get the right one
I wasn't sure if it was me or my bifocals giving me the illusion on the top rail. The neat thing, the top rail is designed to accept standard mounts for a quick point, laser, or scope - if you like that sort of thing.
