Gun confiscated at High School
A gun was confiscated at Serra Catholic High School in McKeesport today. No one was threatened or injured.

The Rev. Kris Stubna, secretary for Catholic education for the Diocese of Pittsburgh, said the incident involved a sophomore enrolled in the St. Anthony Program for special needs students. Some St. Anthony's students take classes at Serra.

Father Stubna said that two girls on one bus saw a boy on another bus lift his jacket and point to what appeared to be a gun. They reported the matter to the principal, who found the gun in a locker and called police. At that point, the St. Anthony's students were out of the building on a trip but were called back to the school. The student was removed by police.

Father Stubna said the student has been suspended pending an expulsion hearing.

1. A Catholic school?
Kid was probably carrying to protect himself against the priests. After all, it's practically a guarantee that nobody else will act against them.
