Gun Vs. Beer Bottle
More proof that a gun may not be necessary in combating criminals. The good samaritan was shot 4 times in the head, shoulders, and legs, but he is expected to make a full recovery.

A heroic act potentially saves the life of a store clerk but the hero is shot in exchange for his bravery and it's all caught on camera.

A gunman was demanding money from a clerk at a gas station and even fired twice at the clerk's feet.

But then, a customer from the back of the store, snuck up behind the suspect and smashed a beer bottle over his head.

The suspect ran for it, but fired multiple times hitting the hero, who is in his 60s, four times causing injuries to his legs, shoulder and head.

People in the store say he's a real hero and saved their lives.

Not a beer bottle per se.

Kudos to the brave customer for helping take one more worthless scumbag out of circulation!

The right of the people to keep and bear beer, shall not be infringed.

5. Beer bottles only knock people out in the movies.
The glass is too thin, the contents too light.

Now, if the dude used a wine bottle it might have worked.

8. Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.
The same cannot be said of guns.

12. "No gun required " x 4 !
If you don't mind getting shot -FOUR FRIKIN' TIMES- . He coulda gave him the noodle , but you cant go Full Guevara without the 1911 . Perhaps he just thought that was all going to turn out a little differently than it did ,like he'd seen on the tele . There are a lot of people that share this view and in fact it's represented in the opening line of this post .To surmise -- A man takes a bottle after someone and is shot -FOUR FRIKIN TIMES- and didnt collect one in the eye , this is a clear indication that he didnt need a gun after all .

I lulled . Thank you .

13. Having a gun would have kept him from getting shot four times.
If the guy had been armed, from that range he could have put a 9mm, or even a .380, into the brain stem of the bad guy. Bad guy collapses insantly and no one is hurt, except the bad guy. He gets to lie down forever.

19. Then the thug has a damn hard head if a point-blank shot will bounce off..
It is amusing how those who are opposed to armed self-defense, and defense of other innocents, always try to what-if a situation into inaction. You can play what-if forever, always dreaming up disaster scenarios. I refuse to play that game.

18. Damn right it would have
If the guy had enough time to sneak up with a bottle, he certainly could've put a bullet in the back of his head. The good samaritan would have no injuries and the scumbag wouldn't have gotten away.
