Police: 1 killed, 4 wounded in Ariz. shootout (Bad guys on the losing end)
TUCSON, Ariz. - Police say one man is dead and three others are wounded after they attempted to rob an Arizona store and got into a shootout with the owner and an employee.

Police say the shooting happened Tuesday night after the four men entered and tried to hold up the Tucson store M&M Customs, which sells auto alarms and stereos.

While the men confronted an employee, the store's owner brandished a gun and a shootout ensued. At some point, the employee also pulled a gun and fired at the suspected robbers.

Police say one of the robbers was killed, another suffered life-threatening injuries, and two others were not seriously wounded.

No names were released.

Police say the business owner suffered a non-life-threatening wound.

Notice what's missing? The story mentions NOTHING about the bad guys being armed. Were they? Hellifiknow but I bet they were.

"Four men who tried to rob a north-side auto shop Tuesday were thwarted when the store's owner pulled out a shotgun and an employee drew a handgun in a shootout that turned deadly for the robbers, police said.

One of the robbers was killed, the three others were injured and the shop's owner suffered a bullet wound in the arm, police said. The employee who fired the fatal shot was not hurt, police said."

2. This little gem is missing from the OP
The robbers tried to flee but encountered a locked door. Lopez turned to the business owner and shot him in the forearm.

The owner fired DEFENSIVELY after being fired upon first. No mention of the bad guys having a gun in the original article, making it SEEM like the owner just opened up. That wouldn't be by design, would it? (That's a rhetorical question).
