Anti-Obama, Anti-Democratic Group makes 'dry run' in Alanta. ammoland.com

I know this neighborhood. Right wingers like to come in from the tearacist ring around Atlanta and 'harass the hippies.' Notice the guy with the guitar case. He was probably just trying to make a few bucks when these guys killed the mood.

Impromptu Restore The Constitution Pistols Only Dry Run

Atlanta, GA --(Ammoland.com)- Recently, a few other Atlanta area RTC’ers and I found time to do a little impromptu “min-RTC” or “dry run” at Little Five Points, Atlanta, the site for the upcoming 30 October rally.

This was put together by phone with literally two hours notice, and the purpose was simply to begin preparing for the eventual rally that will be larger in size and include slung rifles and more signage.

As the above picture shows, the Little Five Points location has a lot of foot traffic with what could be described as a “walking street.”

We did all this with no demonstration permit, and it’s actually quite common for folks to set up shop right there on the street with banners, tables, flyers, etc.

WROL: Another arrest for video recording, this time in NC

August 27, 2010 by alarmrideratl

Judge Beth Dixon

It’s not just going on in Maryland and Illinois. From Salisbury (NC) Post by way of the Agitator (hyperlinks mine):

“The resisting-arrest conviction last week of Felicia Gibson has left a lot of people wondering. Can a person be charged with resisting arrest while observing a traffic stop from his or her own front porch?

Salisbury Police Officer Mark Hunter thought so, and last week District Court Judge Beth Dixon agreed. Because Gibson did not at first comply when the officer told her and others to go inside, the judge found Gibson guilty of resisting, delaying or obstructing an officer.

Gibson was not the only bystander watching the action on the street. She was the only one holding up a cell-phone video camera. But court testimony never indicated that Hunter told her to stop the camera; he just told her to go inside.”

Or these terrible posts highlighting police brutality like this one..

WROL in Georgia – District Attorney decides not to prosecute officers who tazered a woman 12 times

July 16, 2010 by alarmrideratl

A woman in western, GA was threatened with arrest for the offense of not answering questions, pepper sprayed and tazered 12 times.

The city attorney and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are declining to investigate the officers involved.

So, not answering questions = reason to arrest

Shameful of them, idn'it?

:sarcasm:

3. Since these things are "quite common" I'd say guitar guy is used to it
or needs to find a new place. This part from the article that was left out of your quote though. . . speaks much more to what was going on than your title (IMO).

"One of the local cops (I’m assuming from the mini-precinct) came out and talked to us for a bit, as did a few local civilians. "All in all, interactions were positive and beneficial."

5. Oh the horror! How many died?

How dare all those people that don't agree with you hold a non-violent demonstration.

Just more "uppity" people that don't know their place in the South, huh?

Or were people injured in the obvious crowd stampede from these violent "racists" or shot and I somehow missed it?

You need to go down there next time and scream in their faces so the people and police can see that you are a typical reasonable citizen trying to stop those "outside agitators" and prevent the spread of these wild constitutional ideas.
