Another round of "Blame the Americans" from the MX government:

Mexico: Guns from the U.S., not illegal immigrants, are real problem

By Arthur Brice, CNN
September 23, 2010 6:20 p.m. EDT

(CNN) -- Violence in the United States is not related to illegal Mexican immigrants, but violence in Mexico is connected to vast shipments of weapons from the United States, Mexico's foreign minister told CNN Thursday.

Foreign Minister Patricia Espinosa pointed to efforts by Mexico to stop the flow of weapons, the great majority of which come from the United States.

"Since 2006," she said in a wide-ranging interview with CNN's editorial board in New York City, "the Mexican government has seized over 85,000 weapons in Mexico."

She noted that it's not just "regular weapons," but also machine guns, grenades and other high-power arms.....

Minister Espinosa's government maybe ought to quit buying "machine guns, grenades and other high-power arms" from the States,

as for some strange reason they can't seem to keep them from disappearing from their armories...

1. The Mexican government can't stop drugs flowing out of Mexico and we can't stop guns flowing in to
Mexico. That is because the border is porous. Finally a problem is recognized.

4. We also can't stop guns that *don't* come through the US.

And as I pointed out, we can't stop the Mexican government from losing guns, rocket launchers, and grenades that it purchased directly from the manufacturers.

That little detail tends not to be mentioned by MX government officials....

2. Maybe Mexico should build a big fence along the U.S. border like they did with Guatemala

Mexico is now building a big ass fence along their souther border. How about the U.S. and Mexico just split the cost of a border fence. I see everyone being happy with that.
