3 Juveniles Involved in MWC Home Invasion

Midwest City, OK—Three Midwest City juveniles were involved in a first-degree residential burglary early Thursday morning which resulted in the death of one suspect and the wounding of another.
Around 8 a.m. Thursday, a 31-year-old woman, who was at her house in the 9300 block of NE 14th Street, called 911 and said two black males just kicked in the back door of her home and she shot the one that was still in the house. She told police he was not moving and that she possibly wounded the other.
The woman said her two children, ages 3 and 2, were also in the house and she was worried for their safety.

I like the take from the Police Chief. "Our victim had no choice—she was obviously in fear of her life and certainly the safety and well being of her two small children. The use of deadly force in my opinion was warranted and necessary to eliminate the immediate threat to this young mother and her kids," said Midwest City Police Chief Brandon Clabes.
