10. "“My mom -- sometimes she just locks herself in her room in depression and cries all night." Story
is datelined Saturday and concerns recent efforts in an old case that has continuing long-term effects

I will simply have to disagree with your view that it is cute to sneer about attempts to solve old murder cases or that other people's profound sorrows are the stuff of comedy

12. Your poutrage is duly noted- and your logic is still flawed.
As someone else has pointed out, you're far from the first to post multiple anecdotes about gun-related tragedies.

And yes, each and every one of these IS a tragedy- but they don't "prove" anything. By your metric, I could "prove" that privately-

owned swimming pools ought to be banned by posting media accounts of children injured and drowned in them- and there are plenty

of such accounts to be had.

After all, it's hard to demolish someone's shoddy logic and demonstrate their poor understanding of statistics if they don't provide

any examples for us. As the great Emil Faber said: "Knowledge is good".

At least this one is polite. Misguided, but still polite. A nice contrast with a recent one whose hatred of gun owners has resulted

in some rather vitriolic posts.

13. Gosh, those "road ragers" would never have managed to hurt anyone if they hadn't had access to guns.
