2. I'm not real sure - but they don't register guns there
do they? People from up here in WI (bad people) go to the gun shows in the south and mid America to buy guns without problems. (my late husband wasn't a good guy and his friends said they could get anything they wanted at a gun show). We need to standardize the laws for every state at the fed level so people can't go across state lines and get guns easier than in their own state.

9. It is against the law to drive over the
speed limit, yet it is very common. Now if we had the tools to enforce it, cameras hooked to radar of a cop every mile, few if any would violate the law. Same thing with gun laws.

Arrests made for lying on the federal form, dealers not at fault, case closed!!! How are these "weak" gun laws?????

10. The story has been posted in GD several times. MSNBC was the only one to editorialize...
...by citing US gun laws as "weak", which was actually not something said by the authorities they cited.

The MSNBC version presently cited here by Hawaii Hiker has been revised to remove that commentary. Reuters and CBS versions presented the story in a purely factual manner all along.
