Texas - House committee passes university campus-carry bill

The set of bills drew an overflow crowd and passionate testimony from opponents and supporters of the legislation. The committee heard heated arguments from dozens of university students, employees, educators and representatives of public interest, health and political groups, who either decried the measure as a threat to safety or applauded its implementation as a constitutional right.

Currently there are 71 campuses in the U.S. that allow for campus carry. Anyone know of any negative incidents caused by such police?

1. In Texas I believe you can carry on campus just not into

any of the buildings. Whenever I go over to the campus it's for a football or basketball game so I can't carry into the stadium but I have never heard of any problems here.
