3. I love...
I love how any time someone who owns firearms is arrested how they make a big deal of his collection.

I myself own 3 shotguns, 7 pistols and 6 rifles, including one civilian AK47. 4 of these weapons are nearly or over 100 years old, and have been in my family for generations.

Also, I'm betting the "Thompson machine gun" above is a semi-automatic variant.

4. Thompson machine gun
Even if it isn't as hard as it is to come by .45 ACP these days it might as well be a rock

8. Glad the police got him before he shot his buddies -- or one of them shot him.

The pro-gun comments at the link are quite funny.

Not much good comes of such "weapons caches."

Does that burst your bubble about evil guns?

10. Cache sounds so crude - I prefer "arsenal", just like the idiots at the New York Times
Any locked closet with more than two guns and two bricks of .22 is an arsenal with "thousands of rounds". We all need to use the "A" word more often, even when it upsets the flock.

11.  To be correct a "arsenal" is where firearms are built,
A "Armory" is where said firearms are stored.

12. And 'cache' denotes 'hidden'.
I mean, if the police had to pull up floor boards to find them, then yes, it's a cache.
