Charlie Sheen, a man-kiss and a gun

<snip>

Police officials in Georgetown, Ga., say they have arrested one David O'Hara for aggravated assault after the man brandished a handgun and threatened to shoot several people in his home, including a 14-year-old girl (name withheld) and his gf (name withheld).

Seems it's Charlie's fault.

Local TV station WBRL reports that O'Hara was watching TV when he suddenly became enraged by the sight of Chas. kissing Jimmy Kimmel on the mouth on the comic's late-night talk show. Charlie's stunt, on Monday night, seemed to take Kimmel by surprise.

"I am relieved that no one was injured or killed over the disagreement of such a trivial matter as a TV show," says Quitman County Sheriff Steve Newton.

3. Please provide data to support your claim.
more guns more mayhem

Please explain how this anecdote supports your claim of a trend. Violent crime continues to trend downward in the United States, despite increased firearm ownership. This would seem to contradict your claim.
