Defecating dog sparks US shootout
Two neighbours in the US state of Mississippi drew weapons and fired at each other as an argument over a defecating dog ran out of control.

Associated Press news agency said Jerry Blasingame, 60, has been charged with assault for shooting Terry Tehnet, 52, with a shotgun.

Mr Tehnet was angry because he thought Mr Blasingame's dog had defecated on his lawn, in a rural part of the state.

Mr Tehnet, whose injuries are not life-threatening, may also be charged.

6. Better Solution
I had a neighbor who insisted on hoisting his dog into my yard so it could take a shit. Since the yard was three feet higher than the sidewalk and had a retaining wall it was obviously on purpose so he wouldn't have to scoop the poop. After I slid in a patch of dog doo while mowing the lawn and almost feel with my foot under the mower deck I got pissed off. The next time I saw the neighbor walking down the sidewalk beside his dog who was in my yard I asked him not to do that. I told him if I wanted dog shit in my yard I would own a dog. He acted like the dog was to blame. Two days later I looked out the window and the dog was shitting in my yard while the neighbor held the leash. I got a plastic bag, walked out and scooped up the shit. Then I walked across the street and smeared the dog shit on the neighbors car hood and told him the next time it would be his face. He never walked his dog in my yard again.

7. should have got it on video
(him hoisting the dog)

I think that would have counted as vandalism ... (well, before you did that to his car ...)
