http://www.wgme.com/newsroom/top_stories/videos/wgme_vid_7919.shtmlIn the wake of Rep. Frederick Wintle's arrest for pointing a gun at a newspaper photographer in a Dunkin Donuts parking lot in Waterville, Maine House Speaker Robert Nutting
(edit R-moran) is asking prosecutors to bar Wintle from the statehouse as part of any bail conditions.
A Republican
(edit R-moran) from Garland, Wintle is facing charges of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and carrying a concealed weapon after Morning Sentinel photographer Michael Seamans told police Wintle confronted him Saturday morning, accused Seamans of being a drug dealer for the mother of an infant who died this week at a Waterville homeless shelter and pointed a .22 caliber handgun at him.

"Our first concern is the safety of all members of the Legislature, statehouse employees and members of the public at the capitol,:" Nutting said. "I have asked the district attorney to make a condition of Rep. Wintle's bail be that he is barred from the capitol campus, and we have revoked electronic badge privileges for entry to the statehouse as well."

So the GOPbaggers now want the State House to be a gun-free zone?
How authoritarian
