14-Year-Old Student Showing Off Gun
PEARL CITY, Hawaii -- The Honolulu Police Department said a 14-year-old boy brought a gun to school and was showing it off to his friends when it accidentally went off and injured a student on Monday morning.

"A 14-year-old student brought a .45-caliber Glock semi-automatic pistol to school this morning and was showing it to several friends. As he was pointing the gun at the first student, that student swiped his hand at the gun, knocking the gun downward to the side. And that's when the round went off," Capt. Lester Hite, of the HPD, said.

This means that Junior had his finger on the trigger of a loaded gun that he was pointing at his classmate. I don't know of any "toters" who would engage in such dangerous and irresponsible behavior, much less model it for their children.
