KPBS in San Diego cut out the Commonwealth Club speeches a couple of years ago due to budget sadness. Same with KCRW (Santa Monica). It's a damn shame; looks like all the Southern California stations have reverted to local programming.

7. I have a passionate dislike of KCRW

ever since about 1991 or so when the removed Dierdre O'Donnohue (sp) from the SNAP sessions she orchestrated. Bastards. She got some of the best underground talent to come in and interview and play live. Gave the station national exposure. And they cut her. I have never forgiven them.

I've heard statements all over the place. If EVERYBODY thinks they biased, I guess they are fairly neutral. I've heard Democrats say they are Right wing, and Republicans say they are Left wing.

When you present choices that contain multiple elements and force people to link issues that are not linked in the real world, it's too easy to design a survey to deliver a predetermned result.

I can't take the NRA any more seriously than I take the Bradys or the VPC. Both sides tell too many tall tales and outright lies. Both sides do it CONSTANTLY.
