Boo! Hiss!

You can have my power to weight ratio when you pry it from my cold, greasy hands.

6. Hey, watch that scooter bashing stuff ;-)
2 Vespa's, a '62 and a '64 and a 2002 Bajaj have parking space in my garage and get ridden regularly, weather permitting.

These days anything that gets 125 mpg is a lot more than just a cute, antique novelty.

7. It's okay, I had a Vespa moped
Though it was almost to heavy to pedal around on leg power. :)

8. Ugh, mopeds
I could never pedal them anywhere either, too damn heavy for pedaling anyway. I think that was just a way to get around regulations in some countries and states.

Did you have the Ciao or the Bravo?

I picked up a sweatshirt on my last trip to the UK that has the Vespa logo on the front and in HUGE letters on the back; "It's Not A Damn Moped".

Both Mopeds and Scoots are making a really big comeback lately. It's as much style thing as it is cheap transportation. But with gas getting up to $2.50 plus, I might be commuting more on the scooter than my car in the near future.

The two older Vespa 2 strokes actually do get over 100 mpg.

The Pep Boy auto stores are even selling electric and gas powereed scooters now.

10. I ride a motorbike every day
Two wheels are cheap on gas and parking.

I passed a pack of scooters the other day. I gave them a thumps up, even though I am more rocker than mod. :)

2. Hoooookay.
That's an interesting plan there.

Point 7 and point 2 seem to be in conflict.

7. Governors on all new motorcycles limiting the top speed to 75 mph (the highest speed currently allowed by any state).

2. Imposing a nationwide 55 mph speed limit on all two-wheeled vehicles using public roadways.

Why limit the top speed to 75 when you want the maximum speed limit to be 55? Maybe they don't want to look like a bunch of authoritarian nanny staters. Haha.

Point 5 is a hoot too. Don't vote/don't ride. Maybe they should extend that from just people under 18 to everyone that doesn't vote.

What timezone are you in Liberal Classic? Is it still April Fool's Day where you are? I mean, you had me going for a while there, but little_timmy.html? Come on, that was a little over the top.

3. This is a joke, right?
This is only an elaborate put-on for April Fools, isn't it?
None of my motorcycles get anywhere clost to 82 MPG.

If this is true, it will increase the value of my old "project
bikes".
