Post articles about things that might have happened!
I'm issuing a challenge to the Gungeon.

I want you guys to post articles about events that nobody wants to read about and that are completely unnewsworthy.

You can start with incidents where a person fended off an attacker with a gun, yet no shots were fired and no police report was filed. Such non-events are certainly regularly reported in the newspaper, no?

You can then follow up with articles about car accidents that were narrowly avoided. And people whose dogs run away but come back ten minutes later. And people with chest pain who never had a heart attack.

These articles should be quite easy to find all over the internet.

Good luck!

1. I saw something not happen just this morning!
About a block up from my house a small boy was riding his tricycle IN THE STREET. A postal worker stopped his van and waited until the boy was safely in his own yard under the watchful eye of his mother before proceeding.

Reporters from the San Diego Union-Tribune were not present. Perhaps I should call them to report the non-event. Maybe they'll print it in the paper tomorrow morning.

2. A disaster narrowly averted!
It should make the front page.

3. "pro gun democrats" have bad faith argument
"Cyberspace--Utterly unable to make a good faith argument as usual, the "pro gun democrats" of DemocraticUnderground.com resorted once again to lame sarcasm and bad faith.
No-one of consequence was much surprised by the tactic, which again pointed up the lack of evidence for their cause.
Noted racist fucknut Larry Pratt said, "I sure don't speak for them in any way, although they seem to parrot every argument I can muster."
Pete Coors could not be reached for comment."

4. Tina Mae Morrison.
She was the hottest girl in my junior high class. One night a study session at her place was going REALLY well, but her dad came home.

Oops. Y'all want a current story...

5. It's gotta be in the last 24 hours.
I forgot that little caveat.

flamebait, pure and simple. The other thread was locked, I think we got all the mileage out of that one we could get.
