The Bellville regional court on Wednesday heard how a pastor and marriage officer from Eerste River tried to find a hired killer to murder a former friend who had made him the beneficiary of a policy.
The court also heard that the pastor wanted to use the hired killer again if the planned killing "went off smoothly".
He said he saw the accused as being "very serious". Willemse told him "God sent him (Hector) to him so that he could make money out of killing these people''.
