1. It's easy. If it's automatic, ban it. If it's not, don't. |

I think you should have to put 50 rds through it in an hour.
Watched a gentleman shoot a 14in contender in full length 458 win mag. Broke his wrist in 2 places.

I'm with JeebusB... Please tell me that you didn't seriously take his website as anything credible?
OTOH, I did see a .50 BMG pistol when I was stationed out west. It was a custom-made singleshot that used an M1911 frame as it's platform. You took the slide off, loaded the round, then locked the slide back in place. It fired like a normal 1911, hammer-wise. It had a muzzlebrake that could be adjusted to either vertical or horizontal. The one shot that I was around to see threw a muzzleflare out about two feet to either side of the shooter, and blew the drawers out of the shooter's box of some guy three benches away.
Awesome to see shoot, but I don't think I'd want to try it!B-)

8. If you want some broken bones from the recoil.... |
|
OK, but it seems like a joke to me as a .50 BMG round is huge in and of itself.

The thermonuclear bullets they advertise should be a tipoff, for starters.

If the recoil didn't break your wrist,
If the muzzle rise didn't crack your skull,
If the concussion blast didn't detach your retinas,
If the muzzle blast didn't set fire to everything around you,
I still wouldn't shoot the thing on a dare.
Of course, if it were real, someone behind the trigger would have been killed, blinded or maimed already.

13. More thrusts per squeeze. |

I've shot 3 rounds with a S&W 500; that was enough for me. Imagine shooting this thing. http://www.pfeifer-waffen.at/Zeliska2.pdf(note: PDF file in German). .600 Nitro Express revolver. :scared:

"That gun is really stretching the definition of a pistol"
It's obviously massive, but falls within the definition of a handgun by US (BATF), standards... even though the owner/creator is German. I appreciate the creativity, design and time that went into creating it.
Even if it were configured as a rifle, it wouldn't be a pleasent thing to shoot.
"Reminds me of the Crocodile Dundee scene..."That's not a knife...";-)"
Or the first Batman with Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson (as the Joker), where Nicholson pulls out a ridiculously long barreled handgun from his pantleg and shoots down the Batplane.
