lunabush's too-late Friday afternoon bad joke thread
If he isn't going to do it himself, somebody will just have to do it for him.

This was on the radio as I was driving around this afternoon, so I should accredit it, but my mind wandered and I missed the name:
http://www.cbc.ca/insite/RICHARDSONS_ROUNDUP_VANCOUVER/2004/10/15.html
"Madly Off in All Directions with Lorne Elliott welcomes guests Jonny Harris and Paul Edwards."
- so it must've been one of them. Briefly ...

Some folks took exception to Mothers Against Drunk Driving being for female parents only, and wanted the dads included.

So now they are, and now they're F'nMADD.

J/PS connection ... WE ALL KNOW THAT PROHIBITION DOESN'T WORK. And we should stop making laws that only affect law-abiding drunk drivers and just hold the ones who kill people responsible.

per lunabush (and sic):

That is the main rule (outside fo the usual DU rules), it should contain some semblence of J/PS - you might offer an explanation of how it connects. The other rule is that you should laugh at my joke - I always post that as a qualifier - it never works, but I keep trying.

Well if he wants somebody to laugh at his joke, he'll have to tell one.

1. Ha, ha....uh...oh yeah, Ha
;) Not bad actually

We do indeed know that prohibition doesnt work. But, prohibition has nothing to do with drunk driving, does it? Unless of course, they repealed the 21st?

2. No explanation needed
WORKING PEOPLE FREQUENTLY ASK RETIRED PEOPLE WHAT THEY DO TO MAKE THEIR DAYS INTERESTING.

I WENT TO THE SAM'S CLUB THE OTHER DAY. I WAS ONLY IN THERE FOR ABOUT
5 MINUTES. WHEN I CAME OUT THERE WAS A CITY COP WRITING OUT A PARKING TICKET.

I WENT UP TO HIM AND SAID, "COME ON, BUDDY, HOW ABOUT GIVING A SENIOR A BREAK?" HE IGNORED ME AND CONTINUED WRITING THE TICKET. I CALLED HIM A BASTARD.

HE GLARED AT ME AND STARTED WRITING ANOTHER TICKET FOR HAVING WORN TIRES. SO I CALLED HIM A JACKASS.

HE FINISHED THE SECOND TICKET AND PUT IT ON THE WINDSHIELD WITH THE FIRST. THEN HE STARTED WRITING A THIRD TICKET.

THIS WENT ON FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES. THE MORE I ABUSED HIM THE MORE TICKETS HE WROTE. I DIDN'T CARE. MY CAR WAS PARKED AROUND THE CORNER AND THIS ONE HAD A "BUSH/CHENEY" BUMPER STICKER ON IT.

I TRY TO HAVE A LITTLE FUN EACH DAY NOW THAT I'M RETIRED. IT'S IMPORTANT AT OUR AGE.

Oh, yeah. Ha ha, luna.
