Finally, time off for hunting...

Second time out this year tomorrow morning. First time out was kind of a "let's see what we can find out in the back feild at sunset" thing.

Cross your fingers for me, my freezers empty and with family coming over next week, I need to feed the free-loading bastards ;)

2. Three for me so far this year.

I'm still after the big boy. I've gotten the 8 point and two good sized does. I've got a little over 300# of fresh meat in the freezer. Another half will top off my freezer and anything else goes to the family (except for a few of my DU pals that are getting treats).

got a call late last night and more work tossed on my plate *grumble*grumble*

the good: I'm almost done, so I can at least go out this afternoon.
the bad: the weather is UGLY out.

Dont forget to pay hommage to the hunting gods. Spend copious amounts of cash down at the sporting goods store, drop at least half your ammunition in the mud, and scrape your face across a tree a few times. That should please the gods :)
