Rafsanjani praises Palestinians' brave resistance
Edited on Fri Oct-28-05 12:47 PM by bemildred
Interesting in light of the belligerent attitude
in evidence today from Ahm-a-dingbat. Syria also is
talking back today, a General officer no less. You
wonder if this is some sort of pattern?

I do like that name: "Expediency Counsel". If only our
own politicians were so overt about their intentions.

Expediency Council Chairman Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani here on Friday praised the brave resistance of he oppressed Palestinian nation despite full support of global arrogance for the Zionist regime.

---

The interim Friday prayer leader of Tehran considered the "main problem of the Iranian nation" the existence of the Zionist regime, adding, "We have no problems with the pious and real Jews, whom we fully respect."
Hashemi Rafsanjani in the end expressed hope that the Palestinian Muslim nation would in near future succeed to live in a peaceful and secure atmosphere side by side with the followers of other faiths.

He said, "If a referendum is to be held in Palestine the question to be asked would be whether the Palestinians wish to live in their own country, or not?"
Head of the Expediency Council concluded his remarks on Palestine arguing, "The Islamic Republic of Iran pursues the developments regarding Palestine painstakingly, and cares much about the Palestinian nation.
