'Extreme right – Jewish Hamas'
Following violent evacuation of illegal West Bank outpost, Acting prime minister's associates voice radical opinions against extreme right, imply future evacuations to be expected in near future

http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3209634,00.html

<snip>

"Following the violent clashes that erupted during the evacuation of the illegal West Bank outpost of Amona Wednesday, Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's aides voiced radical opinions against the extreme right Wednesday night.

Speaking to Ynet, one of Olmert's associates compared the extreme right to a "Jewish Hamas."

"The spokespeople of the extreme right, which is the Jewish Hamas, are trying to delegitimize Ehud Olmert through the incidents in Amona," the aide said.

The associate also rejected the claims that the Amona incidents aided Kadima and implied that additional evacuations of illegal outposts may be implemented in the near future.

"There is a legal decision to evacuate two other illegal outposts, the 725 outpost and the Sakali hill. What is illegal is illegal, and no other order is needed. We must evacuate it," the aide said."

line. If they evacuate now it will look like a retreat. They need to stand strong to those terorist.

2. They say hindsight's 20/20.
If they hadn't allowed the squatters to squat illegally wherever they wanted to in the first place, it wouldn't be so difficult at this time to extracate them. In a way, you can't blame the squatters, because they were led to believe that what they were doing was okay; however, you can certainly blame the government leaders who led them astray, allowing them to steal Palestinian land and do with it as they pleased, treating the Palestinians worse than the scum of the earth.

4. Giving land has proven a mistake. I predicted that.
I knew that giving anything would cause the Palestinians to become more violent. Now they've voted in their terrorist group as their govt. Gee, what a surprise. (Not).

8. What difference does that make?
The Israelis appear to do as they damned well please, even if it means stealing something. Wasn't it stolen land they wanted to rent to Pat Robertson's ilk to use as a "Jesusland" theme park?

12. I agree. It is the land of the Israeli Jews.
Edited on Thu Feb-02-06 08:41 PM by Sarah Ibarruri
Apparently real history doesn't suit people who are against Israeli Jews. It burns their eyes to read the real history of Israel, and they'd sooner die rather than acknowledge that history. They want to revise it sooo bad.

11. What?
The last owners of Israel were the British. The British left Israel, but before they did, they wanted the land divided up between Jews and Arabs. The Arabs said no, and swore to kill off every Jew on the land. The rest is history. To this day, the Arabs have said they want the entirety of Israel, and the Jews dead. The minute the Arabs said no, Israel came up for grabs.

How do you propose to revise that history to make me believe your point?

5. If the settlers are the Jewish Hamas....
then is Baruch Goldstein, MD, the Jewish Abdel Aziz al-Rantissi, MD?

And, don't criticize Doctor Abdel Aziz al-Rantissi - if he hadn't been assassinated, I would have had a career as a body double for him. :hi:

9. I fail to see the connection.
The comparison of the Israeli settlers to Hamas is not at all akin to the comparison of your two doctors.

Your point being?

13. Democracy Brings Hamas into Power
Given the situation on the ground for the Palestinian people
you can’t be surprised by the out come of the recent election
in Palestine. The elections giving the Hamas leaders much more
responsibility for the way things are going to be in the
future for the Palestinian people. Hamas will be held
accountable to the Palestinian people as well as to the
Quartet. The newly elected leaders of Hamas will have to
choose in the manner they are going to bring about change in
Palestine.

The State of Israel as we known it today was established with
the help of terrorists, some of who turn into political
leaders of Israeli. Many people in their support of the State
of Israel will deny there ever were acts of terrorists on
behalf of Israel. Saying they were freedom fighters that were
defending the Jewish homeland.

Within political parties there are many different fractions
that make up the party. This is true in the United State,
State of Israel, and Palestine as well as in any other
nation’s major political party. Defending the philosophy of
any of the extremist’s fractions within a major party is
difficult to near impossible with any degree of logic.

The actions and reactions of the people and governments of
Palestine and Israel are being closely watch by the
international community of nations. Only by the Quartet
applying equal presser to both sides for reform can peace come
about. The position of the governments on both side need to be
more transparent for the people and government of the world to
see. This could be done by creating an official website for
the government of Palestine and Israel to post their positions
and responses concerning the Peace Process. This would create
a platform of equal footing for both sides. Giving the people
of the world a window into the Peace Process.
