Settlers blamed for violent clashes
http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/DA5DBB98-C325-4C3A-B936-D494C958FC4D.htm

<snip>

"Israelis blame Jewish settlers for violence between ultranationalists and security forces clearing the illegal outpost of Amona in the West Bank, according to a newspaper survey.

The opinion poll in the Israeli Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper also indicated decreasing public support for Jewish settlers before the general election on 28 March which the Kadima party of Ehud Olmert, the interim prime minister, is expected to win.

The ballot found that 57% of respondents blamed settler protesters for the violence in which 160 people were hurt after settlers threw bricks and metal shards at the police.

Only 16% of respondents blamed police.

The paper did not say how many people were polled."

2. More:
http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3210370,00.html

<snip>

"A total of 57 percent of Israelis believe settlers are to blame for the violent clashes during the evacuation of the Amona outpost Wednesday, whereas only 16 percent say the army and police are at fault, a Yedioth Ahronoth and Dahaf Institute poll shows.

According to the poll, 10 percent of respondents said both sides are equally guilty, while only four percent said Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and the government were to blame for the serious violence."

So we've got:

57% blame the settlers

16% blame the police

10% blame bothe the settlers and the police

4% blame Olmert

That leaves 13% unaccounted for.
