Condition of Baby Hurt by Kassam Rocket Shows Improvement 23:54 Feb 04, '06 / 6 Shevat 5766 By Scott Shiloh
The condition of Osher Amar, a baby hospitalized on Friday after a Kassam rocket fired from Gaza exploded just outside his home in Kibbutz Carmia, improved over the Sabbath.
The two-month old infant is reported to be in moderate condition.
The infant was evacuated to Soroka Hospital in Beersheva on Friday by his grandfather. The child’s father and uncle, and a pregnant woman, who were lightly wounded in the attack, were evacuated to Barzilai hospital in Ashkelon.
All of the wounded are members of the Amar family. The Amars are refugees from Gush Katif, the region in Gaza destroyed by the Israeli government under the Disengagement Plan last August. The family has been living in a temporary dwelling in Kibbutz Carmia since they were forcibly evicted from their home in Gush Katif. snip

1. The problem is hate is so deep and strong between the two sides |
|
These victims are caught in the middle of it. There's enough blame to go around for both sides, but for the sake of humanity, there has to be an end to this violence.
